Saturday Fun Day

Ok, so we didn't necessarily stay home the entire day, but it was a fantastic weekend!

Friday after my last class, I headed to my massage appointment. Wow! It was fantastic and much needed.... I was so relaxed. Afterwards, I headed home, lit some candles, and took a bubble bath. Once I was all dryed off, I even painted my nails. Then I promptly fell asleep because I was soooo tired.

The next day we woke up at 10 (even better than 9) and rolled out of bed. Devin made french toast and I helped him flip them :) We showered and got ready and headed over to Jason's dealership at 1. Then we met up with Tyler and got both our cars washed - yes both! (I was a happy girl) We cleaned them inside and out. Then Tyler checked out both cars - we needed a new battery in the Xterra... ($100... sheesh!), and he tightened the serpentine belt on the hyundai. Whatever that is. So 100 bucks later we were good to go.

We ended up going to the mall and stopped by yankee candle to get some car air fresheners. After we headed to TJ Max. One of my most favorite places on earth. Devin's mom gave us a $300 gift card to go shopping... so you could say we had fun. And we spent every dime... It was a great shopping trip. Here are some pictures of the clothes we got.

My cute man.

Anne Klein shirt... such a great find. (sorry about the messy closet behind me)

Then we were starving from shopping so much so we went to dinner at...... Macaroni Grill! It was sooo yummy. I got my favorite lemon dish - the chicken scaloppine. Devin got some 4 course meal. Let's just say he tapped out before the 4th dish ever came. So we had a lot of leftovers... Excited for dinner tonight :)

After dinner, we went to H&M. Just because we hadn't spent enough already. Devin needed some new jeans and a new jacket, and TJ Max didn't have any that looked good or fit right. So we hit up the mall, again. :) I was happy with it. We ended up buying Devin two pairs of jeans - black and grey - and then we got him a hoodie and a jacket. Oh, and I got a necklace :)

After shopping again, we went to the movies, well the dollar theater. Because at this point, we were now broke. Ha. So we saw The Book Thief, and I LOVED IT. Devin didn't, but then again, he doesn't really like sentimental movies that make you cry... and boy oh boy this was a tear jerker. Such a good movie - it's a must go see.

Anyway, that was our busy, but super fun weekend. Maybe I should be more excited to do things on the weekends afterall...
