This weekend was so fun! Chantelle had two extra buddy passes that expired at the end of this month so she gave them to us so we could come see them for the weekend. Devin had a competition on Friday night so we flew out at 8.
The competition was at LDSBC. They won! They won $2000. Pretty cool, huh? They plan to develop some new software and get some patents written up with the money. They also made some great new contacts that might be interested in investing or helping them with business advice. I'm so proud of him! Here's a picture of the guys with their larger than life check. Pretty fun.
After the competition we drove to the airport and flew to Denver! The next day Chantelle, Greg, and Devin woke up at 5 and went skiing. I couldn't because of my knee and the recent knee surgery I had. I stayed home, slept in, read books, took a giant bubble bath, and played with the dogs.
I also got this note. My sister-in-law is pretty much the best!
I woke up to this. I was in heaven!
