"When do you graduate?"
"In three semesters"
I reply with fabricated excitement, as if it isn't the 99th time I've been asked in the last year.

And boy oh boy, those semesters can't fly fast enough. This semester I am taking 17 credits and I will enroll in 9 credits in the spring (which transfers to 18 credits in a regular semester). The semester after that is Fall 14 and I will take 16 credits. After that, in Winter 15, I begin my student teaching. Then I graduate in April.
Even though it's so close, it's so far away! I can't help but feel burnt out, like I've never felt before. It doesn't help that my husband hates school more than I do either. I think our crazy schedules are what have been making this the hardest semester yet.
Here's a look at our day-to-day life (it changes daily but it's usually pretty similar)
7:00 AM - Wake up
8:00 AM - Work
12:00 PM - Start Classes
6:30 PM - Finish Classes
7:00 PM - Arrive Home
7:30 - Make Dinner, Eat, Do Homework
10:00 PM - See Devin & Watch our Shows
(I either see Devin at 10:00 or at
dinner depending on the day)
12:00 - Fall Asleep
Here's a list of the classes I'm taking this semester:
Teaching Grammar & Usage, Teaching Composition, Young Adult Literature, Spanish 106, Technology in the Classroom, Educating Students with Disabilities, and Classroom Management.
Phew. Let's just hope I can fit in all of those final exams within the 5 days of Finals Week!
